About the Role:

The Senior IT Manager, Web Portfolio is a key position at Boston Scientific, responsible for leading the strategic planning, development, and implementation of our global AEM web platform. This role will oversee a team of developers and product owners to create and maintain a robust, scalable, and user-friendly web environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the AEM global web platform strategy aligned with the company's digital goals and objectives.
  • Influence global and regional experience strategy to design and deliver a global integrated customer experience.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in web platform capabilities and user experience.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure alignment of web platform initiatives with broader business strategies.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of global AEM web platform projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of AEM developers and product owners.
  • Ensure the technical integrity and scalability of the AEM platform.
  • Oversee the integration of AEM with other digital tools and systems.
  • Collaborate with related technology stack teams to implement integrations and resolve dependencies, ensuring high-quality, unified customer experiences.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the platform competitive.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure the successful delivery of services and solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts and service level agreements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Marketing, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in web platform management.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing digital teams and projects.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in project management and communication tools like: Office365, Teams, JIRA, PPT, Slack, Trello, Confluence, MIRO
