We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager (Logistics) to join our team at The TJX Companies, Inc. As a key member of our Global Sourcing and Procurement organization, you will play a critical role in driving strategic sourcing initiatives and developing category strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Support Senior Category Managers in the execution of high-complexity sourcing events across various categories, including international supply chain, ocean freight, and customs brokerage.
- Lead Project Execution for assigned events, utilizing defined strategic sourcing methodologies, tools, and templates to ensure a fair, open, and competitive sourcing process.
- Develop and Execute Category Strategies in collaboration with Senior Category Managers, focusing on high-complexity categories such as international supply chain, ocean freight, and customs brokerage.
- Collaborate with Business Partners to drive value for the business while maintaining high-quality service standards, building trust with key stakeholders, and ensuring alignment and satisfaction.
- Participate in Global Category Management Teams for assigned categories, establishing solid partnerships with global peers and colleagues.
- Identify and Execute Opportunities for specification alignment, process improvement, and demand management, ensuring a compliant 'Source-to-Pay' process for all eligible Business Partner spend.
- Monitor and Report Category-Specific Savings and Performance Metrics, collecting and challenging current product or service requirements, and presenting new sourcing strategies to drive cost savings.
- Manage Associates and Develop Them for Future Growth, ensuring a collaborative and team-based environment.
- Bachelor's Degree or Post-Secondary Education in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Strong Knowledge of Sourcing and Procurement, with experience in international supply chain, ocean freight, and customs brokerage.
- Strong Business Acumen, with excellent interpersonal relationship development skills and the ability to analyze data related to spend, supplier performance, and market trends.
- Strong Presentation Skills, with experience presenting information to senior leaders, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Developed Management, Training, and Development Skills, with a preference for candidates with experience in the retail industry and managing multinational Business Partners and suppliers.
