Executive Pastry Chef

Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Executive Chef, the incumbent will consult with the Executive Chef and ownership regarding recipes, staff, menus, preparation, and presentation on all desserts. The Executive Pastry Chef will supervise daily operations of the dessert program, preparing cakes, desserts, pastries, and creating new desserts and specials. Weekly and monthly tastings for ownership will be conducted, and the Executive Pastry Chef will ensure kitchen staff adhere to set standards, procedures, department rules, and sanitation requirements.
Requirements:
Ability to work under pressure with grace and ease, love of exceptional food, modern drink, and exquisite style, and must have open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Executive Pastry Chef will also be responsible for managing the kitchen inventory, ensuring supplies are fresh and of high quality, and keeping the workstation and kitchen equipment clean, organized, and sanitized.
