Your Role and Impact:

As a Senior Technical Program Manager at ZipRecruiter, you will play a critical role in driving the development and implementation of cutting-edge recruitment technologies.

Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data scientists, and product managers, you will leverage extensive data to enhance our platform's capabilities.

Your expertise will help us tackle complex challenges in operational efficiency and deliver impactful solutions that benefit employers and job seekers alike.

Key Responsibilities:


- Act as a liaison between engineering, product, and leadership to ensure alignment on project priorities and timelines.
- Lead cross-departmental initiatives from inception to completion.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project roadmaps, identifying risks and addressing issues proactively.
- Oversee compliance, security, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Establish efficient processes and workflows to enhance productivity across teams.
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering and operational practices.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the technical program management function.


Qualifications:


- Proven experience working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to build consensus and collaborate effectively.
- Experience in managing large-scale cloud product development and operational readiness.
- Background in project management, risk assessment, and dependency management.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
- Minimum of 5 years in technical program management or engineering management roles.
- At least 7 years of experience working with software or data engineering teams.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
