Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Program Manager to spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing the scalability of technical expertise within AWS. This role is pivotal in cultivating global communities of specialists to optimize our onboarding, development, and enablement processes for Specialist resources worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive skills complexity framework in collaboration with specialist leaders to assess learning milestones and integrate them into existing technical curricula.
- Oversee the planning and execution of our flagship annual learning event, "TFC Summit Week," accommodating over 2,000 in-person and 20,000 virtual participants.
- Streamline and implement our program's participation in major marketing events, including re:Invent and regional summits, as well as geo-specific learning initiatives.
- Design and implement learning initiatives that foster knowledge sharing and collaboration across the global technical community.
- Establish and refine mechanisms to evaluate and track the readiness of field employees, providing strategic insights into ongoing programs and projects.
- Ensure continuous improvement of programs based on stakeholder feedback and data analysis.
- Communicate project updates, challenges, and strategies effectively to leadership and stakeholders.
A Day in the Life: As the Technical Field Community Scaling Lead, your focus will be on empowering the next generation of technical experts and orchestrating large-scale learning events. You will collaborate with communities of experts to align their curricula with evolving industry standards, updating their mental models and developing metrics to assess the success of learning initiatives.

About the Team: The Technical Field Communities (TFC) Program is dedicated to enhancing customer engagement with AWS by driving knowledge-sharing initiatives and connecting experts across the technical landscape.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in program or project management.
- Proven track record in managing program strategy and delivering results to senior leadership.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in using data to drive improvements.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in the technology sector.
- Experience in developing learning and development programs.
- Familiarity with cloud computing concepts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in business, program management, or related fields.
- Industry certifications in instructional design or curriculum development.
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems and corporate training practices.
