DINING PROGRAM OBJECTIVE:

POSITION SUMMARY

The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic kitchen environment. The Kitchen Support/Dishwasher role is essential to the daily operations of the kitchen. This position plays a crucial role in ware washing, stewarding, stocking, and maintaining organization to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen functioning. There are opportunities for advancement within the kitchen team.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform ware-washing duties.
  • Ensure all kitchen wares are polished and stored according to our high standards.
  • Assist with rolling silverware, folding napkins, and busing tables as necessary.
  • Monitor and report any maintenance issues with kitchen equipment.
  • Adhere to daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization within the kitchen, following safe food handling practices.
  • Consolidate and rotate prepared products to ensure quality and longevity.
  • Carry out stewarding tasks, including receiving, stocking, and tracking inventory to comply with established food safety standards.
  • Support chefs with food preparation tasks as assigned.
  • Set up buffets and beverage service stations.
  • Restock and refresh service stations as needed.
  • Assist with kitchen production and meal preparation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • High energy and a positive demeanor.
  • Basic understanding of kitchen operations and equipment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
  • No travel required.
