Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of experience in a professional culinary setting.
- Possession of or willingness to obtain food safety certification (training provided by the company).
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient knife skills, knowledge of food identification, food preparation techniques, and ability to adhere to recipes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute food preparation and cooking tasks for events as directed by the Sous Chef, including basic vegetable prep, sauces, stocks, meat fabrication, and other advanced culinary techniques.
- Organize production schedules over multiple days to ensure workflow efficiency.
- Carry out stewarding tasks such as receiving, stocking, and rotating inventory.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, adhering to safe food handling practices and proper rotation of prepared items to ensure quality and longevity.
- Assist with dishwashing duties for kitchen operations and meal events.
- Ensure compliance with daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
- Recognize that job responsibilities may evolve over time, and we aim to adjust your role accordingly.
