Job Summary:

The Audit Senior is a key member of our team, responsible for managing and organizing client engagements and projects. This role involves performing audits of clients' financial and information systems, assessing compliance with applicable standards and guidelines, and ensuring the sufficiency of internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engagement Management: Oversee the completion of engagement tasks and project components, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Audit and Accounting: Perform audits of clients' financial and information systems, applying accounting principles and auditing procedures to ensure compliance with standards and guidelines.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Assume responsibility for medium- and large-size audit engagements, leading teams and delegating tasks to staff members.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Anticipate and identify solutions to problems and issues, keeping the manager informed of engagement status.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effectively communicate with clients and team members, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and a professional attitude.
  • Professional Development: Participate in continuing professional education (CPE), developing networking relationships with clients and non-clients, and representing the firm at local professional and business organization functions.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education: A minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Professional Certifications: Possess a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and Adobe software platforms, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Adherence to Firm Policies: Adhere to all firm policies and procedures, as outlined in the Associate Handbook.
  • Client and Team Relationships: Be pleasant, courteous, and helpful with staff and clients, maintaining a professional attitude and supporting a teamwork-oriented environment.

  • Professional Development: Participate in continuing professional education (CPE) and develop networking relationships with clients and non-clients.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work Environment: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Travel and Physical Demands: Travel, both overnight and during the day, is required, and must be able to lift 25 – 50 pounds at times.
