Job Summary

The Head Cashier is a key member of the retail team, responsible for ensuring seamless customer transactions and providing an exceptional shopping experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Register Operations: Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handle customer returns and exchanges, and maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
  • Cash Room Operations: Verify cash drawer balances, prepare deposits, and perform other cash handling duties as required.
  • Office Operations: Assist with office duties, including receiving, invoices, and inventory management.
  • Audit: Participate in quarterly audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Front End Appearance and Upkeep: Maintain a clean and attractive storefront, including impulse counters, displays, and shopping carts.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Compensation:

$14.00 per hour
