Role Summary:
The Accounting Intern at FWM PAYROLL CLEARING INC will engage in various financial tasks, including the examination of partnership tax filings for compliance and the analysis of audited financial documents. This role will also support the creation of internal financial reports aligned with the requirements of auditors and assist in bank reconciliation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the generation of monthly financial reports for a range of funds in accordance with established guidelines.
- Support the preparation and evaluation of financial summary documents and additional reports as necessary to accompany monthly financial statements.
- Assist in gathering information for external tax professionals and auditors.
- Review tax documentation and audit findings.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in computer applications, including email, word processing, and spreadsheet software, particularly Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to perform under pressure and resolve issues effectively.
- Intermediate organizational, project management, and time management skills.
Educational Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minimum GPA of 3.3.
- Must be a Junior or Senior undergraduate or a graduate student.
