About the Role

Anoka-Ramsey Community College is seeking a visionary leader to serve as Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs. This key position will play a critical role in shaping the college's academic and student services landscape, driving innovation, and fostering a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and vision for academic and student affairs, ensuring alignment with the college's mission and goals.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs that promote student success, academic excellence, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of academic programs, curriculum, and assessment processes.
  • Lead the college's accreditation efforts, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and personnel to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including K-12 systems, institutions, and community organizations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or higher preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience in academic and student affairs, with a track record of success in driving innovation and improvement.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, analyze complex data, and make informed decisions.
