Job Title: HR Coordinator Job Summary: The Salvation Army Central Territory is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to provide administrative support to the Divisional Human Resources managers and Director. This role will assist in day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department, ensuring the smooth execution of HR functions. Key Responsibilities: * Assist in onboarding new hires through the ADP HRIS system * Maintain job postings on the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) * Update and maintain employee files, I-9 files, and legal files in accordance with organizational policies and government regulations * Conduct background checks for all new hires * Maintain and update records with the HRIS/Payroll System(s) * Assist with the recruitment process by reviewing resumes and applications, and conducting phone screening and scheduling interviews * Prepare and forward correspondence as necessary * Assist with various projects as requested * Participate in departmental meetings both in-person and virtually Requirements: * Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience * 2+ years of Human Resources experience or equivalent combination of education and experience * Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 * Working knowledge of HRIS/Payroll/ATS systems, ADP Vantage a plus * Working knowledge of TEAMS and SharePoint * Willingness to learn new programs as needed Benefits: The Salvation Army offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health care benefits, short-term and long-term disability options, pet insurance, pension contributions, and a 403(b) voluntary retirement savings plan.
