Position Overview: This position is responsible for providing essential administrative assistance to the Human Resources management team, facilitating the smooth operation of the HR Department. This is an in-person role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the onboarding process for new employees using the ADP (HRIS) platform.
- Oversee job postings on the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Ensure the accuracy and compliance of employee files, I-9 documentation, and legal records in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough background investigations for all incoming staff.
- Update and maintain records within the HRIS/Payroll systems.
- Support the recruitment efforts by screening resumes, conducting preliminary phone interviews, and coordinating interview schedules.
- Prepare and send necessary correspondence.
- Assist with various HR projects as assigned.
- Engage in departmental meetings, both in-person and virtually.
- Stay informed about Federal and State employment laws and regulations.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Education/Experience:
- Associate's degree required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources or a related field.
- Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
- Complete required training and maintain certifications as necessary.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Familiarity with HRIS/Payroll/ATS systems; experience with ADP Vantage is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of TEAMS and SharePoint.
- Eagerness to learn new software and tools as needed.
- Certificates and Licenses:
- Must possess a valid driver's license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record check.
