Job Description

Sales Account Executive Opportunity at ServiceMaster Cleaning & Restoration

This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional to join our team as a Sales Account Executive. You will be responsible for selling Commercial Mitigation work, Insurance Adjusters, Insurance agents, Property Managers and Facility Managers.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

Responsibilities
  1. Contact clients before and after service to ensure satisfaction and develop new prospects
  2. Prospect and develop new sales leads in assigned verticals
  3. Build and maintain key relationships with insurance agents, adjusters and other key relationships
  4. Develop product knowledge and refine sales techniques for specific relationship types and verticals
  5. Prepare documents for job file reviews with current and prospective clients
  6. Document and report on key referral-source relationships weekly and monthly
  7. Participate in collections efforts with non-residential customers when necessary
  8. Resolve issues with customers
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent; college degree preferred
  • 1-2 years experience in the Disaster Restoration field; IICRC Certifications preferred
  • 6-12 months of sales experience or prior sales training is highly desired, but not required
  • Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Highly motivated, strong work ethic and enjoy the selling process
  • Build rapport easily and establish trust, leading to lasting customer relationships
  • Can effectively present information to customers one-on-one and in small groups
  • Has a good aptitude for basic math-- necessary for doing calculations related to the sales process
  • Local and regional travel may be required for trade shows, training, networking events and for selling services immediately after catastrophic events
  • Some work required outside of traditional working hours to network and represent the company at business social events
  • Skilled using social media and other web-based sales tools
