Comtech LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Planning & Scheduling Specialist to join our team in Reston, VA.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the successful execution of complex programs by developing, managing, and maintaining comprehensive program schedules. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate plans, analyze risks, and track progress against key milestones.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop integrated master schedules using IMP, SOW, and WBS.
  • Create and maintain detailed project plans and schedules, performing risk analysis, identifying and resolving critical path and network logic conflicts.
  • Utilize Gantt charts, Critical Path Analysis, Driving Path, Variance metrics, milestone charts, Earned Value Management (EVM), and other project management techniques to monitor progress and identify performance variances.
  • Collaborate with finance, engineering, materials, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of program schedules across functional groups.
  • Lead or participate in scheduling status reviews, providing clear and concise reports on project progress and potential risks.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related analytical field.
  • Proven experience in Program Planning and Controls, including EVM, on government-contracted programs.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Proficiency in schedule and analytical tools such as Full Monte, SSI Risky Project, or similar software.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
