This role requires a continuous evaluation of financial changes and the formulation of strategies to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning, including the preparation and analysis of financial reports and data.
- Perform weekly analysis and reporting for Orders, Sales, Operating Income, and Cash Flow.
- Maintain program working capital within the forecasting system and provide variance analysis for program cash.
- Collaborate closely with program finance to develop monthly forecasts.
- Drive understanding of variances and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify corrective actions, risks, or opportunities.
- Develop and present executive-level presentations tailored for both finance and non-finance audiences.
- Contribute to the annual operating plan development and conduct monthly balance sheet and cash analysis.
- Lead financial reporting process improvement initiatives.
- Create tools, templates, and processes to streamline data collection and report preparation while ensuring relevance and detail.
- Address ad hoc financial requests as needed.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Financial Planning & Analysis.
- Prior experience with Hyperion Planning and Oracle SmartView.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Balance Sheet and Income Statement.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Independence in work.
- A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional desirable qualifications include:
- Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Knowledge of general ledger accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Education:
A Bachelor's Degree is required, and it must be from an accredited institution.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with a standard Monday to Friday schedule.
