About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Leadership Development Program Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Internal Analytics: Develop and maintain internal analytics to track operational and financial performance, combining data from multiple sources to create reporting and Tableau dashboards that drive key decisions.
  • KPI Reporting: Provide KPI reporting for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of key performance metrics.
  • Rate Quotation Analysis: Assist in the analysis and development of rate quotations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Fixed Rate Profitability: Analyze existing business and work with local management to formulate strategic transportation and logistics recommendations that enhance customer relationships and drive business growth.
  • Carrier Optimization: Optimize data through the USCS optimizer, preparing data, input files, and analyzing output to prepare proposals for customers.
  • Carrier Management: Ensure 100% of carriers doing business with USCS are under contract, monitor active carriers to ensure compliance with company qualifications, and recommend qualified carriers to regional TMs.
  • Carrier Scorecard Reports: Produce monthly carrier scorecard reports for each CSC program, scheduling monthly business review meetings and conference calls with carriers and USCS management to review scorecards.
  • Freight Market Analysis: Monitor the freight market to ensure USCS rates remain competitive, coordinating daily shipments, load planning, carrier selection, and dispatching of loads.
  • Customer Service: Ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction, resolving delivery discrepancies and interacting with customers to meet their needs.
  • Carrier Relations: Maintain positive carrier relations, establishing relationships with clients to pursue sustainable business relationships and initiate and maintain claim support.
  • Financial Closing: Support the Transportation Manager in the month-end financial closing process and procedures, as well as other projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or Business Analytics.
  • Experience: Entry-level, co-op, or intern experience in Supply Chain preferred.
  • Skills: Good arithmetic, reading, and typing skills, ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods, and ability to work overtime as needed.
