Key Responsibilities
  • Transport materials to job sites while ensuring the safety and maintenance of the vehicle.
  • Conduct inspections and report any shortages or claims to the supervisor.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of materials to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a current Class A or B Commercial Driver's License as required.
  • Complete DOT-required logs of time on duty and driving.
  • Support forklift operators during loading activities.
  • Perform daily pre-inspections of equipment.
  • Document all merchandise returned by truck and assist in unloading materials for credit.
  • Adhere to guidelines established by the Department of Transportation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the yard and warehouse.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Safely operate truck-mounted forklifts.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the vehicle.
Qualifications

Preferred experience includes a minimum of 6 months in a CDL role, with basic knowledge of flatbeds and/or tractor trailers. A minimum of 1 year of CDL experience is required for interstate commerce.
