Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Line Supervisor to join our team at IES Commercial and Industrial. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of electric transmission and distribution lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor a team of electrical linemen and apprentices in the construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of electric transmission and distribution lines.
- Ensure compliance with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
- Travel as required to various job sites and locations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
- Develop and implement safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of an accredited Journeyman Lineman program or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of recent experience working in transmission and/or distribution line construction.
- Supervisory experience with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
- Class A or B CDL or ability to obtain.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
- Pass DOT physicals and drug tests as required.
