Position Overview:
Clean Harbors is seeking a qualified Class B CDL Vacuum Truck Operator to operate a Liquid Vacuum Truck at various client locations. This role encompasses both driving and non-driving responsibilities associated with hazardous waste management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Liquid Vacuum Trucks without manual restrictions.
  • Perform driving and operational tasks on and off customer sites.
  • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Ensure proper placarding of vehicles to meet regulatory standards.
  • Assist field personnel as required in a collaborative environment.
  • Document daily logs, timesheets, and reports accurately.
  • Participate in site remediation and hazardous material handling as needed.
  • Fulfill additional assigned duties and potential on-call emergency response duties.

Qualifications:
  • Valid Class B CDL certification.
  • Experience operating Liquid Vacuum Trucks.
  • Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment.
  • Proficiency in using mobile devices for operational tasks.
  • Physical capability to perform job-related tasks.
  • Successful completion of background checks and physical assessments.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in commercial driving.
  • Familiarity with Hazmat protocols.
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
  • Experience in manual labor roles.
