Key Responsibilities:
  • Operates commercial vehicles to deliver both finished and raw food products.
  • Conducts cleaning, inspections, and maintenance of the truck.
  • Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections for vehicle defects.
  • Communicates maintenance and repair needs to the Dispatcher and/or Maintenance team.
  • Secures customer signatures for delivered goods.
  • Keeps precise and complete driving logs and vehicle service reports.
  • Maintains communication with dispatchers, customers, maintenance personnel, legal agencies, and office staff via radio or telephone.
  • Refuels the vehicle as necessary.
  • Applies and removes chains as required.
  • Sorts and organizes products by description/SKU.
  • Completes trip envelopes according to instructions.
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of commercial truck driving experience is required.
  • A valid Commercial Driver's License is mandatory.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is necessary.
Working Conditions:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and driving.
  • Driving for up to 11 hours continuously.
  • Ability to push/pull up to 2000 pounds using a pallet jack as needed.
  • Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds repetitively.
  • Able to lift 60 pounds occasionally.
  • Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time.
