Job Summary:

The Azek Company is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in the mid-Atlantic/Upper Atlantic region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base in the assigned territory.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, including dealers and their sales representatives.
  • Prospect and Close Deals: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, and close deals through effective negotiation and sales techniques.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Collaborate with internal teams, including sales support, marketing, and product development, to provide solutions that meet customer needs and drive sales growth.
  • Manage Sales Activities: Manage sales activities, including sales calls, meetings, and follow-up activities, to ensure timely and effective communication with customers.
  • Provide Sales Reports: Provide regular sales reports to management on sales performance, pipeline status, and forecasts.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in outside sales, with a proven track record of success in sales and customer relationship management.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Skills: Strong sales acumen, excellent prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills, self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Travel: Valid driver's license and ability to travel overnight, with a minimum of 75% travel required.

Success Metrics:

90 Days:

  • Meet with top 30 dealers.
  • Complete dealer/product training.
  • Complete training on AIA presentation and action selling.

6 Months:

  • Determine goals and action plans for new dealer conversions.

1 Year:

  • Exceed Sales Incentive Plan goal for new dealers.
  • Increase pipeline activities.

Compensation:

The annual salary for this role is $65,000 to $75,000, with generous bonus and incentive opportunities that significantly increase earning potential.
