Position Overview:

At Fidelity Enterprise Architecture (FEA), we are in search of a seasoned User Experience Architect to spearhead comprehensive architecture for the Brokerage sector. This position entails close collaboration with product teams across various domains, including retail investing (brokerage accounts, managed services, banking services, etc.) and workplace investing (401ks, health-insurance related accounts, etc.), to devise solutions that align with business objectives and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

This role is highly hands-on, focusing on the overall technical and experiential architecture, both pre and post-login. You will oversee all facets of the web platform and work collaboratively across product areas and multiple business units to ensure the new web platform is accessible and beneficial to all segments of the organization.

We seek a proficient User Experience Architect capable of leading and managing the end-to-end architecture across diverse teams in a multifaceted environment.

Required Expertise:

The following skills will enhance your success in this role:

  • Demonstrated experience in architecture, encompassing scalability, resilience, security, and data architecture.
  • Proficient in engineering web and/or mobile applications from inception to completion, emphasizing customer experience, scalability, security, and performance. Key technologies include:
    • Native and hybrid Android & iOS application development
    • Angular/React (we utilize Angular) web development
    • Expertise in API design principles and their applications
    • Experience with enterprise API implementation, utilizing REST and GraphQL [federation]
    • Ability to deconstruct user interfaces into smaller reusable components and manage large-scale migrations
    • Familiarity with reactive and functional programming concepts.
    • Experience in building highly scalable architecture to support Omnichannel experience platforms
    • NX generator, executor creation, and dependency graphs within NX monorepos

  • Be prepared to develop proof of concepts (POCs) as necessary to substantiate your proposals.
