We are seeking an Assistant Culinary Leader to become a vital part of The Revere Room Culinary Team.
Key Responsibilities
The Assistant Culinary Leader will oversee preparation, organization, and delivery of high-quality service in all aspects of hot food production. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Hot menu items
- Hotline specials
- Presentation of hot appetizers, entrees, and side dishes
- Preparation of sauces, stocks, and hot sandwiches
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment. The role involves managing kitchen operations and personnel, ensuring quality in food preparation, and proper storage of all food items.
Essential Duties
- Adhere to departmental policies and service standards.
- Ensure superior quality standards are met daily.
- Review daily activities including house counts and catering events.
- Assign tasks to associates based on daily priorities.
- Communicate with the Executive Culinary Leader regarding daily specials and operational needs.
- Oversee inventory requisition and ensure proper storage of supplies.
- Conduct regular inspections of kitchen areas to maintain standards.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and hotel requirements.
- Train new hires and provide ongoing training for existing staff.
