**Overview**

**Key Responsibilities:**

Reporting to the Executive Chef, the Culinary Leader will undertake a variety of essential functions, including but not limited to:

1. Delivering consistently exceptional, friendly, and proactive service to guests while collaborating with fellow team members.

2. Conducting daily briefings for culinary and stewarding teams to ensure alignment and focus.

3. Continuously innovating and evolving menu offerings across all dining outlets, taking into account current culinary trends and seasonal ingredient availability.

4. Ensuring uniformity in the preparation of all food items for Sugar Palm's a la carte and event menus, adhering strictly to established recipe standards.

5. Fostering effective communication within the team and actively seeking guest feedback to enhance service quality.

6. Assisting in the supervision and development of culinary and stewarding staff, emphasizing engagement and training.

7. Overseeing the proper receiving and handling of daily deliveries from suppliers into the kitchen.

8. Leading the culinary and stewarding teams to uphold the highest health and safety standards, in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

9. Collaborating with sales and operations teams to consistently exceed guest expectations and service standards.

10. Proactively sharing ideas and suggestions to enhance the culinary environment and menu offerings.

11. Monitoring and ensuring the quality of all food items leaving the kitchen, making adjustments as necessary.

12. Maintaining open lines of communication with the Outlets Management Team regarding guest feedback.

13. Ensuring cleanliness and proper rotation of products in storage areas.

14. Managing staffing and scheduling in accordance with productivity guidelines.

15. Upholding cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment.

16. Adhering to kitchen policies, procedures, and service standards.

17. Guaranteeing proper plating and presentation of all dishes served.

**Qualifications:**

1. A minimum of 3 years of prior leadership experience in the culinary field is required.

2. Experience with restaurant openings and launches is preferred.

3. Background in fine dining kitchens is highly desirable.

4. Familiarity with brunch service is a plus.

5. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications is advantageous.

6. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills are essential.

7. Highly responsible and dependable.

8. Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

9. Capability to work cohesively as part of a team.

10. Focus on guest needs while maintaining a calm and courteous demeanor.

11. Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish are an asset.
