Tact Staff is currently seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in the Operating Room for an exciting opportunity.
Position Overview & Requirements- Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
- Discipline: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Start Date: Immediate
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- Shift Length: 12 hours
- Employment Type: Travel
**Experience Required:** Minimum of 2 years in the Operating Room setting. First-time travelers are not eligible for this position.
**Important Considerations:** Candidates must be aware of the high cost of living in the area and should research the location prior to application. All requests for time off (RTO) must be pre-approved and included in the initial submission.
Unit Details- Average Daily Patient Census: 30
- Patient Demographics: Neonates to Geriatrics
- On-call Requirements: Yes, 6-8 shifts every 6 weeks
- Weekend Shifts: Yes, 6-8 shifts every 6 weeks
- Unit Systems: Omnicell, Epic, Handoff Sheet
- Scrubs: Provided
**Certifications Required:**
• Basic Life Support (BCLS)
• Preferred: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
**Skills Required:**
• Circulating experience
• Level 1 Trauma experience is essential. Candidates with over 2 years in Level 2 trauma may be considered.
**Additional Skills:** Candidates must possess at least two of the following with Level 3 and 4 experience:
• Neurology
• Orthopedics
• Robotic Surgery
**COVID Vaccination:** Required for all candidates.
