The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) is a strategic business partner who shares ownership for both business strategy and business value results. This role owns executive-level relationships and serves as a single point of focus, working to converge functions such as IT, Operations, Commercial, HR, Finance, etc. across one or more lines of business or value streams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Stimulate, surface, and shape business demand for capabilities and assets, ensuring that the potential business value from those capabilities and assets are captured, optimized, and recognized.
• Partner with business peers to determine strategic direction and identify ways in which the BRM's function can support and advance business objectives.
• Shape business demand into supply by partnering with appropriate resources to facilitate the creation of idea documents, business cases, and value plans, ensuring value optimization and communication, and enabling continuous improvement in all areas and people around them.
Requirements:
• BS in engineering, computer science, or 10+ years related field experience.
• 8+ years of functional experience in the business function ideal.
• 7+ years of experience facilitating the development and implementation of business initiatives and projects, based on management objectives.
• Strong experience with diverse business applications (especially SAAS based and ERP systems), diverse manufacturing processes, and associated operational technologies.
• Business Relationship Management Professional (BRMP) or similar certification preferred.
• Proficient in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, and C#.
