Position: Low Voltage Account Manager

Uhl Company is on the lookout for a motivated and results-driven Low Voltage Account Manager to enhance our expanding sales team. In this role, you will focus on promoting our extensive range of low voltage solutions, which encompass security systems, fire detection systems, access control, CCTV, data networking, and audio-visual technologies. This position is ideal for an enthusiastic individual with a strong background in sales and a keen interest in technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Development:
    • Identify and target new business opportunities across various sectors that can benefit from our low voltage offerings.
    • Establish and nurture robust relationships with both existing and prospective clients to understand their requirements and propose appropriate solutions.
    • Conduct engaging product demonstrations and presentations to effectively convey the advantages of our services.
    • Formulate and execute sales strategies aimed at meeting or surpassing sales objectives.
    • Leverage CRM tools to oversee and document sales activities, customer engagements, and pipeline management.
  2. Client Relationship Management:
    • Deliver outstanding customer service by swiftly addressing inquiries and concerns.
    • Serve as a trusted consultant to clients, grasping their business needs and suggesting customized low voltage solutions.
    • Collaborate with various teams, including technicians and project managers, to ensure client satisfaction and successful project execution.
    • Stay updated on industry advancements, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive advantage.
  3. Market Research and Business Growth:
    • Perform market analysis to uncover new opportunities, trends, and customer demands.
    • Forge strategic partnerships with relevant industry players to broaden our market reach.
    • Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to promote our low voltage solutions and cultivate new business relationships.
  4. Sales Analysis and Forecasting:
    • Generate regular sales reports detailing pipeline status, sales activities, and revenue forecasts.
    • Work closely with the sales management team to provide accurate sales predictions and assist in developing sales strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success in low voltage sales, ideally within the security, fire safety, and access control sectors.
  • Comprehensive understanding of low voltage systems, including security solutions, fire alarms, access control, CCTV, data networks, and audio-visual equipment.
  • Exceptional sales and negotiation capabilities with a talent for building rapport and influencing key stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
