Position: Low Voltage Account Manager

Uhl Company is on the lookout for a proactive and results-driven Low Voltage Account Manager to enhance our expanding team. In this role, you will spearhead the sales of our extensive low voltage offerings, which encompass security systems, fire alarm solutions, access control mechanisms, CCTV, data networking, and audio-visual technology. This position is ideal for an enthusiastic individual with a strong affinity for technology and a successful sales background, eager to contribute to our organizational growth and achievements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Development:
    • Identify and target new clients across diverse sectors that can benefit from our low voltage offerings.
    • Establish and nurture robust relationships with current and prospective clients to comprehend their requirements and propose appropriate low voltage solutions.
    • Conduct engaging product demonstrations, presentations, and proposals to effectively convey the advantages and value of our products.
    • Formulate and execute sales strategies and tactics to meet or surpass sales objectives.
    • Leverage CRM software to oversee and document sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management.
  2. Client Relationship Management:
    • Deliver outstanding customer service by swiftly addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests.
    • Serve as a trusted consultant to clients, grasping their business needs and recommending customized low voltage solutions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technicians, project managers, and support personnel, to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
    • Remain updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to sustain a competitive advantage.
  3. Market Research and Business Growth:
    • Perform market research and analysis to pinpoint emerging opportunities, market trends, and client needs.
    • Forge strategic partnerships and alliances with relevant industry players to broaden our market reach.
    • Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to showcase our low voltage solutions and cultivate new business relationships.
  4. Sales Reporting and Forecasting:
    • Compile regular sales reports detailing pipeline status, sales activities, and revenue forecasts.
    • Work alongside the sales management team to provide precise sales forecasts and assist in developing sales strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success in low voltage sales, ideally within the security, fire, and access control sectors.
  • Comprehensive understanding of low voltage systems, including security systems, fire alarms, access control, CCTV, data networks, and audio-visual technology.
  • Exceptional sales and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport and influence key decision-makers.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Self-driven with the capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
