Hire Resolve's client is urgently seeking the expertise of a Geospatial Survey Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

Field Surveys:
Execute comprehensive field surveys utilizing advanced instruments such as total stations, GPS technology, and digital leveling tools.

Data Acquisition:
Collect vital information regarding land boundaries, topographical features, and other geographical elements for mapping and property evaluation.

Data Processing:
Analyze and process survey data to produce precise maps, charts, and documentation.

Technical Drafting:
Employ computer-aided design (CAD) software to generate accurate drawings and plans derived from survey data.

Boundary Analysis:
Aid in the determination of property lines and easements.

Record Keeping:
Maintain detailed records of survey operations, including field notes, images, and survey documentation.

Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure that all surveying activities adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Quality Assurance:
Confirm the precision and quality of survey outputs to reduce errors and inconsistencies.

Equipment Management:
Oversee the maintenance and calibration of surveying instruments to guarantee accuracy and dependability.

Client Interaction:
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to clarify project specifications and provide updates on survey progress.

Collaborative Efforts:
Work in conjunction with senior surveyors, engineers, and other professionals to achieve project goals.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional Land Surveyor registration certification is advantageous.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in surveying and mapping is required.
- Preferred 3+ years of project management experience.
- Proficient in surveying tools and software, including total stations, GPS devices, and CAD applications.
- Experience with 3D LiDAR Scanning (Static, Mobile, etc.) data registration and extraction.
- UAV/UAS operation, data acquisition, and data reduction experience is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Expertise in right-of-way mapping and parcel plat drafting.
- Proficient in the use of total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors, along with GPS reduction software.
- Experience in AutoCAD with demonstrated survey drafting skills is essential; excellent AutoCAD skills are a plus.
- Ability to interpret and understand survey drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Knowledge of monumentation, staking, and marking principles.
- Hydrographic surveying experience is a plus.
- Strong grasp of land surveying principles, practices, and regulations.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to precision and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with relevant safety protocols and industry best practices.

Compensation and Benefits:

- Salary: $80K/yr - $105K/yr, negotiable based on experience.
