Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

The Facilities Operations Manager is accountable for overseeing the maintenance and development projects across multiple locations. This role involves collaborating with the executive leadership to ensure effective budgeting, organization, scheduling, and execution of all projects.

PRIMARY DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Identifying and assessing maintenance and construction requirements.
  • Leading and managing projects from initial concept through to successful completion.
  • Conducting thorough inspections of projects to establish timelines, cost estimates, and resource allocation.
  • Monitoring all maintenance and construction activities to ensure adherence to safety and building regulations.
  • Coordinating and supervising maintenance personnel and subcontractors.
  • Engaging in negotiations for contractor bids.
  • Responding promptly to urgent situations as they arise.
  • Ensuring compliance with contractual performance standards.
  • Reviewing daily progress on all projects.
  • Preparing and presenting internal and external reports on project status as necessary.
  • Negotiating agreements and leading efforts to secure necessary permits and licenses.
  • Assessing, managing, and mitigating potential risks.
  • Upholding high standards of construction quality and proper techniques.
  • Collaborating with contractors to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
  • Contributing to strategic decisions impacting the facilities management area.
  • Resolving escalated operational issues in coordination with other departments.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment for both customers and staff.
  • Performing additional tasks and projects as assigned by executive leadership.
  • Responsible for recruiting and managing maintenance personnel.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.
  • Hands-on involvement in project execution when necessary.
