Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Finance Operations Manager to join our finance department. This pivotal role will be instrumental in advancing our financial operations and ensuring adherence to accounting standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to foster collaborative relationships across various teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of Financial Operations: Manage daily financial activities, including general ledger oversight, revenue tracking, accounts receivable management, asset accounting, and cash flow operations.
  • Policy Development: Formulate, review, and enhance accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Internal Controls and Compliance: Safeguard the integrity of financial systems, including the setup of accounts, financial reporting, and compliance processes.
  • Financial Reporting: Lead the financial closing process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, along with variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Audit Coordination: Oversee year-end audits and compliance assessments, collaborating with auditors and preparing necessary documentation.
  • Process Enhancement: Engage in initiatives to improve accounting practices and systems, including automation and control documentation improvements.
  • Team Leadership: Guide and mentor the accounting team, focusing on recruitment, training, and performance management to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Systems Management: Administer financial systems and controls, including accounting software and ERP solutions.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in the creation of internal and external financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Special Projects: Participate in various projects as needed to support the finance team and organizational goals.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • CPA certification or progress towards certification is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
  • Prior experience in auditing, preferably with a reputable firm.
  • Experience in a leadership role is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate strong interdepartmental relationships.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
