We are in search of a seasoned financial advisor with a proven history of success in business development to join our expanding Nashville office. This role will focus on acquiring and nurturing new client relationships while collaborating closely with various departments. The advisor will utilize their personal network and established distribution channels to generate leads. Sequoia provides extensive resources to empower advisors in delivering integrated wealth management services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of client relationships, from proposal development to the execution of financial, estate, and investment strategies.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, leading the engagement team to proactively address their ongoing financial needs.
  • Set clear meeting objectives and utilize advanced technology and advisory teams to prepare supporting materials.
  • Collaborate effectively with the client's entire engagement team, both internally at Sequoia and with external advisors.
  • Identify and acquire new clients to drive growth in existing and new markets.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related discipline.
  • Possession of one or more professional designations, such as CFP, CFA, or CPA.
  • 7-10 years of experience in financial planning and investment management.
  • Demonstrated success in client acquisition and business development.
  • Strong technical expertise in comprehensive financial planning, including estate planning, asset management, tax strategies, and closely held businesses.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial situations and communicate insights, opportunities, and solutions effectively to clients.
