Position Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst will report directly to the FP&A Manager and will be instrumental in facilitating cross-departmental financial planning and analysis processes within the organization. This role encompasses budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc reporting, along with data-driven insights to guide strategic and operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the creation of a dynamic and efficient forecasting process that adds value to the organization.
  • Prepare comprehensive monthly financial reports for management and the Board, providing timely and insightful analysis to track performance against budget and forecast metrics.
  • Oversee the capital allocation model, ensuring alignment of investments with strategic objectives, monitoring ongoing expenditures and ROI, and enhancing visibility for informed decision-making.
  • Act as the project lead for various strategic initiatives, including new product launches, cost reduction strategies, and potential acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with the Direct to Consumer team to standardize reporting and establish key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Work alongside department leaders to develop reporting mechanisms that support the growth of the business, focusing on financial performance and KPI tracking.
  • Enhance Finished Goods inventory reporting and assist operations with planning efforts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong foundational knowledge of accounting, finance, production, and operational principles.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, particularly in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Proficient in Excel and experienced in financial analysis.
  • Experience in the manufacturing and consumer products sectors is highly desirable.
  • Solid background in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, with experience managing multiple entities or financial models.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functions in both leadership and support roles.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; advanced degrees such as CPA, MAcc, MSF, or MBA are advantageous.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate financial planning, budgeting, and delivering impactful financial reporting and analysis.
  • Familiarity with financial planning tools and ERP systems (e.g., Power BI, D365, OneStream) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
