Position Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a crucial role within the finance team, reporting directly to the FP&A Manager. This position is integral in facilitating cross-departmental financial planning and analysis processes throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Forecasting Development: Collaborate in creating a dynamic and efficient forecasting process that adds significant value.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive monthly financial reports for management and the Board, providing insightful analysis to track performance against budget and forecasts.
  • Capital Allocation: Manage the organizational capital allocation model, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives while monitoring ongoing expenditures and ROI.
  • Project Leadership: Act as the project lead for various strategic initiatives, including new product launches and cost-saving projects.
  • Standardization of Reporting: Work alongside the Direct to Consumer team to establish standardized reporting and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Departmental Collaboration: Partner with department leaders to develop financial reporting that supports the growth of the business.
  • Inventory Reporting: Enhance Finished Goods inventory reporting and assist operations with planning.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong foundational knowledge in accounting, finance, production, and operations.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on financial modeling and analysis.
  • Proficient in Excel and financial analysis tools.
  • Experience in the manufacturing and consumer products sectors is highly desirable.
  • Solid background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Ability to work effectively across functions in both leadership and support roles.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; advanced degrees such as CPA, MAcc, MSF, or MBA are advantageous.
  • Minimum of 5 years in corporate financial planning and budgeting, with a proven track record in impactful financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with financial planning tools and ERP systems (e.g., Power BI, D365, OneStream) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles is beneficial.

Travel and Physical Requirements
