Position Summary

We are looking for a full-time courier to join our team, responsible for the efficient collection and transportation of medical materials between our facilities and external clients. This role is crucial in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of specimens.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver medical specimens promptly to specified locations, following established schedules and protocols.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle, conducting regular inspections and reporting maintenance needs.
  • Comply with all safety regulations while operating the vehicle and handling medical materials.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients to coordinate pickups and deliveries.
  • Handle specimens with care, ensuring proper labeling and packaging during transport.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries during pickups and deliveries.
  • Assist with loading and unloading of specimens and supplies, adhering to proper handling procedures.
  • Keep accurate records of all deliveries and pickups using company software.
  • Participate in training sessions to stay informed about company policies and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve operational challenges and foster a positive work environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver's License is required.
  • Personal auto insurance is necessary; no additional coverage is needed for the company vehicle.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Active smartphone (Android or iPhone) with a sufficient data plan.
  • Flexibility in routing.
  • Preferred experience as a medical courier.
  • Minimum of two years of driving experience.
  • Proficient in using routing software and GPS.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Capability to operate a vehicle for extended periods.

Work Location: Southern Idaho and surrounding areas

Job Type: W2, part-time

Compensation: $18.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • Company vehicle provided during work hours.
  • Eligibility for a monthly performance bonus of 10%.
  • 8% differential pay for hours worked between 10 PM and 5 AM, as well as weekends.
  • Full-time employees are eligible for benefits including health, vision, dental insurance, 401k, and paid time off.

Commute/Relocation:

  • Reliably commute or plan to relocate as needed.
