About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist - Developmental Disabilities to join our team at the State of Idaho. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in clinical assessment, rehabilitation, and crisis intervention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify client needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Design and implement rehabilitation programs to promote client independence and well-being.
  • Provide crisis intervention services to clients and families in need.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Provide forensic services, including court-ordered evaluations.
  • Coordinate services with other providers and community organizations.
  • Develop and implement training programs for staff and clients.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A master's degree in a relevant field, such as social work, counseling, or psychology.
  • Licensure in one of the following: Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).
  • At least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Knowledge of court procedures and practices.
  • Good knowledge of mental health and developmental disability social services/support services.
