Position Overview:
As a Senior Analyst in Automotive Product Development, you will collaborate closely with the Product Development Manager to assess the performance of various product lines. Your insights will guide product strategy recommendations for both divisional and departmental leadership. You will be responsible for evaluating competitor offerings, pricing structures, and target demographics, while also researching market trends to enhance pricing strategies and develop new products.

Key Responsibilities:
In this hybrid role, you will:

  • Lead projects for the implementation of innovative products and services.
  • Analyze product performance metrics and agent effectiveness.
  • Conduct profitability assessments and provide strategic recommendations to enhance growth and retention.
  • Foster collaborative relationships across departments to identify product opportunities.
  • Research and conceptualize complex new products or services.
  • Collaborate with pricing and actuarial teams to ensure compliance and financial soundness of products.
  • Draft contract language and establish initial underwriting guidelines while overseeing the development of predictive analytics.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in contract language and underwriting compliance.
  • Perform comprehensive competitive analyses to support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor actions to inform product adjustments and operational strategies.

Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Proven experience in delivering customer-centric solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills with a background in financial, actuarial, or business analysis.
  • Familiarity with the insurance industry, underwriting guidelines, and risk assessment.
  • Experience in project management methodologies and tools.

Travel and Physical Requirements:
Travel may be required up to 10%. The role involves both sitting and standing tasks.
