With nearly five decades of experience, our Vancouver, WA facility boasts an expanding range of products, including mechanical cargo hooks, suspension systems, proprietary weighing technologies, and a specialized Human External Cargo (HEC) equipment line.
We cater to a diverse clientele, including major OEMs and helicopter operators such as municipal services, fire departments, search and rescue teams, and utility companies, proudly serving over 1,000 customers worldwide.
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled electronic assembler to join our team. This role requires expertise in fine hand soldering (30 gauge wire) and troubleshooting capabilities.
The work environment is climate-controlled, and the position involves utilizing hand soldering tools, tweezers, clamps, and magnifying lenses to perform intricate tasks. Candidates should be aware that this position demands precision and attention to detail, making those with experience in board-level repairs on delicate electronic circuits particularly suitable.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assemble electronic products according to technical drawings and documentation requirements.
2. Diagnose and repair non-functioning electronic products.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in hand soldering, multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, and hand tools.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation in English with a strong emphasis on detail and integrity.
- Preferred training in J-STD-001 standards for soldered electrical and electronic assemblies.
- Basic computer skills are necessary.
Education Requirements:
- High School diploma is required.
- Technical school training is preferred.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $20-$24 per hour, with overtime opportunities based on experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes medical and dental insurance, a 401K plan, and paid vacation and holidays.
