Position OverviewCompany Background:

Public Health Solutions (PHS) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing health equity and addressing health-related social needs for historically marginalized communities. As the foremost public health nonprofit in New York City, we strive to improve health outcomes and empower communities by delivering services directly to vulnerable families, supporting community-based organizations through robust public-private partnerships, and connecting healthcare with community resources. Our focus encompasses a broad spectrum of public health challenges, including nutrition, health insurance, maternal and child health, sexual and reproductive health, tobacco control, and HIV/AIDS.

PHS operates WholeYouNYC (WYNYC), a coordinated community resource network that establishes reliable pathways between healthcare providers, health plans, and community-based organizations. This network comprises over 100 organizations offering essential programs such as food, housing, employment, health insurance, and sexual health services throughout the city, enabling New Yorkers to achieve their healthiest lives and ultimately reducing health disparities.

Recently, New York State announced significant funding to support Social Care Network (SCN) lead entities responsible for coordinating social care delivery across various regions. PHS and our WYNYC network have been designated as the regional SCN for specific boroughs.
