Office Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Office Manager to join our team at Amedisys. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and directing the billing and office support functions, ensuring efficient and accurate operations.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure timely and accurate billing processes by reviewing patient charts for compliance with all billing requirements.
- Oversee and provide direction to the Records Coordinator to ensure quality and accuracy of medical records information.
- Perform various human resource functions, including maintaining required information for audits and licensure reviews.
- Responsible for reconciliation of petty cash/expenses for the care center.
- Process Accounts Payables according to care center policies and procedures.
- Monitor, control, and order office and medical supplies.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two (2+) years office or related experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the appropriate skills for communicating with individuals of all ages, especially the geriatric population.
- Strong computer and software skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in business or related field.
- Experience in a healthcare environment.
