We are currently seeking a Family Reunification Case Aid to join our Unaccompanied Children's Program, working under the guidance of the Family Reunification Supervisor. This role is essential in assisting the family reunification team as they work to connect newly arrived children with their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the intake process for new arrivals.
  • Assist with the Family Reunification Application and maintain ongoing reports.
  • Manage participant documentation, including electronic filing and data entry.
  • Provide support to families and children through phone communication.
  • Perform administrative duties such as document preparation and information verification.
  • Contribute to safe family reunification strategies as outlined in case plans.
  • Ensure prompt reporting of incidents and emergencies.
  • Participate in meetings and assist with consulate communications and scheduling.
  • Support discharge processes for participants.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least three years of experience in social services, case management, or child welfare.
  • Bilingual proficiency in languages such as Spanish, Punjabi, or Hindi is required.
  • Valid driver's license is necessary.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software applications.
  • Comfortable working with diverse populations.
  • Exhibits high levels of collaboration, emotional intelligence, and self-motivation.

Work Arrangement: This position requires in-person attendance and may involve travel to various locations as needed.

Work Environment: The role operates in a dynamic setting with varying noise levels and requires flexibility in scheduling.

Physical Requirements: Regular communication and mobility are essential, including the ability to lift up to 25 pounds when necessary.
