Role Purpose:
Under the general oversight of the Intact Services Team Supervisor, this position involves providing experienced, short-term, intensive child welfare case management services to intact families categorized as high risk. The role includes assessing safety and risk factors affecting child welfare to ensure children can remain in their homes. Responsibilities also include formulating appropriate short-term safety plans, evaluating parents' service needs, developing and executing service plans, and ensuring families receive necessary follow-up support to connect with service providers. Additionally, the role involves maintaining thorough case documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting in-person visits with children, biological parents, and foster or relative caregivers as mandated by regulatory requirements.
- Coordinating and facilitating essential Child and Family Team meetings, actively involving children and families in the process.
- Monitoring interactions between parents and children as required.
- Providing transportation for clients when necessary.
- Securing necessary consents from families and service providers.
- Assisting families in accessing community resources.
- Participating in ongoing training related to regulatory requirements.
- Offering counseling and support services to families.
- Referring families and children to additional services as needed.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field from an accredited institution, with at least one year of relevant social welfare experience.
- Experience in case management is required.
- Bilingual proficiency is preferred.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is required.
- A valid driver's license and current auto insurance are necessary.
- Ability to transport clients as needed.
- Must obtain DCFS Licensure within 60 days of employment.
- Must achieve passing scores on relevant examinations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
