We are currently looking for a Intact Family Case Manager to contribute to our Foster Care program. This position entails working with families referred by child welfare agencies due to investigations of child abuse or neglect.
Position Overview:As an Intact Family Case Manager, you will deliver short-term, intensive child welfare casework services to families facing high risks. Your responsibilities will include evaluating safety and risk factors, formulating service plans, ensuring connections with service providers, and maintaining comprehensive case documentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct in-person engagements with children, biological parents, and caregivers;
- Facilitate Child and Family Team meetings;
- Observe and assess parent-child interactions;
- Provide transportation and secure necessary consents;
- Link families with community resources;
- Stay informed on child welfare agency requirements;
- Deliver counseling and support services;
- Refer families to additional services as necessary.
