Job Overview

We are seeking a proficient Accounts Receivable Specialist with expertise in Contract Administration and Credit Management to deliver financial, administrative, and clerical support. The primary responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of processing incoming payments and managing credit and collections.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Duties:

  • Examine contracts for compliance issues and discrepancies, liaising with project management as necessary.
  • Evaluate credit applications and establish suitable payment terms.
  • Ensure timely issuance of progress billings to clients, accompanied by all requisite documentation as per contractual agreements.
  • Facilitate credit card transactions.
  • Digitally scan and archive documents.
  • Investigate and rectify discrepancies to resolve client billing concerns.
  • Generate and oversee aging reports, collaborating with sales personnel and the Credit Manager.
  • Conduct daily follow-ups with overdue accounts and document collection activities.
  • Foster and maintain robust working relationships with clients and colleagues.
Required Skills

Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction contracts.
  • Solid grasp of fundamental accounting principles.
  • Proficient data entry and 10-key skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively with strong organizational skills.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Understanding of credit and collection practices.
  • Experience in skip tracing.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of B2B collections experience.

Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Accounts Receivable experience: 2 years (Preferred)
