Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Schulte Companies. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Operations
    • Schedule room and cleaning assignments to ensure proper coverage and efficient use of resources
    • Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to meet changing business demands
  • Housekeeping Services
    • Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of all guest rooms and public areas
    • Ensure that all housekeeping staff are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties
  • Staff Management
    • Recruit, train, and develop a team of housekeeping staff to meet the needs of our guests
    • Provide coaching and feedback to staff to ensure that they are meeting performance expectations
  • Quality Control
    • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure that they meet our high standards
    • Address any issues or concerns that arise and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage the inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment
    • Ensure that all necessary supplies are on hand and that equipment is properly maintained
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field preferred
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping management
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
    • Basic math skills and ability to manage budgets
