KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Organizes room assignments and cleaning schedules to ensure optimal coverage.
  • Executes all necessary housekeeping tasks, including bed making, vacuuming, and thorough cleaning.
  • Monitors and updates the status of rooms with discrepancies throughout the shift.
  • Conducts random inspections of assigned rooms to guarantee cleanliness and adherence to brand standards.
  • Mentors and provides feedback to housekeeping staff regarding performance and cleanliness standards.
  • Alerts management and maintenance teams about required repairs in guest rooms or common areas.
  • Involved in the recruitment, training, and performance management of housekeeping staff.
  • Performs property inspections and reports any identified issues.
  • Assists in scheduling staff based on business needs and tracks attendance.
  • Oversees staffing levels to ensure guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial goals are achieved.
  • Manages housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring the team has the necessary resources to perform their duties effectively.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or GED; further education is a plus.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience in housekeeping.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Basic arithmetic skills.
  • Experience with HMS or property management systems (PMS).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Exceptional leadership capabilities.
