We are in search of a seasoned and proficient IT Director to lead our dynamic technology division. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and manage the entire Information Technology department, ensuring that our technological systems are dependable, current, and aligned with the company's requirements. You will collaborate closely with senior management to formulate technology policies that will be implemented across the organization. Candidates should possess a minimum of ten years of IT experience, including five years in a leadership capacity.

Salary Range: $140,000 – $155,000 per year pending DOE

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and manage the IT department, including the formulation and execution of strategic plans and objectives.
  • Remain informed about security threats and ensure corporate security measures are in place.
  • Analyze business requirements for IT systems and needs.
  • Strive to enhance user satisfaction.
  • Assess IT operations in relation to established objectives.
  • Develop and implement policies and objectives that align with organizational goals to ensure efficient departmental operations.
  • Facilitate communication within the IT team and across other departments as necessary.
  • Evaluate the necessity for new hardware and software solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of IT components of business continuity and risk management strategies.
  • Negotiate and oversee IT service agreements.
  • Prepare progress and budget reports for senior management.
  • Recruit new IT personnel.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with external vendors.
  • Contribute to team success by achieving related outcomes as required.
  • Be available around the clock to address system outages or technical issues.
Qualifications:
  • Comprehensive understanding of computer systems, networks, security, telecommunications, databases, and storage solutions.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
  • Proficient in managing and prioritizing tasks and projects.
  • Solid knowledge of security protocols.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with ERP system implementations.
  • Familiarity with SAP S4/HANA is preferred.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, information systems, computer science, or a related field (graduate degree is a plus).
  • At least five years of experience in IT operations.
  • A minimum of three years of experience managing IT teams and projects.
  • Relevant certifications and ongoing education are preferred.
  • Experience with SAP S4/HANA is preferred.
  • Background in the Food and Beverage industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
