Salary Range: $140,000 – $155,000 per year based on experience

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and direct the IT department, including the creation and execution of strategic initiatives and objectives.
  • Remain informed about security threats and ensure corporate cybersecurity measures are in place.
  • Assess business requirements for IT systems and solutions.
  • Strive to enhance user satisfaction.
  • Evaluate IT operations against established benchmarks.
  • Develop and implement policies and objectives that align with organizational goals to ensure efficient departmental operations.
  • Facilitate communication within the IT team and across various departments as necessary.
  • Determine the need for new hardware and software solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of IT components of business continuity and risk management strategies.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts for IT services.
  • Prepare progress and budget reports for senior management.
  • Recruit new IT personnel.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with external vendors.
  • Contribute to team success by achieving related objectives as required.
  • Be available around the clock to address system outages or technical issues.
Qualifications:
  • Comprehensive understanding of computer systems, networks, security, telecommunications, databases, and storage solutions.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
  • Proficient in managing and prioritizing tasks and projects.
  • Solid knowledge of security protocols.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with ERP system implementations.
  • Familiarity with SAP S4/HANA is preferred.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, information systems, computer science, or a related field (graduate degree is a plus).
  • At least five years of experience in IT operations.
  • A minimum of three years of experience managing IT teams and projects.
  • Certifications and ongoing education are preferred.
  • Experience with SAP S4/HANA is preferred.
  • Background in the Food and Beverage sector is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is an advantage.
