About Us: Grace Center for Adult Day Services, a nonprofit organization founded in 1983, is dedicated to delivering comprehensive and compassionate day services for seniors and adults with disabilities.

Job Overview: This role serves as the face of Grace Center for Adult Day Services, interacting with families, healthcare representatives, and the broader community. The position focuses on fostering relationships, enhancing awareness of services, and executing outreach initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

· Actively promotes Grace Center within the community by developing and implementing a strategic marketing plan. Engages in relationship-building with various organizations, provides marketing support, delivers public presentations, and coordinates community engagement events.

· Develops and executes a public information strategy that includes creating social media content, flyers, publications, brochures, press releases, newsletters, and other promotional materials.

· Manages the technological aspects of the organization’s website, social media accounts, and software systems.

· Maintains a detailed calendar of outreach and engagement activities, including community events, workshops, and other communication opportunities.

· Prepares and manages the annual budget for outreach and engagement initiatives.

· Collaborates with the Board of Directors to coordinate annual fundraising events.

· Establishes and nurtures partnerships with local organizations and educational institutions to collaborate on events, share resources, and develop programs that align with mutual goals.

· Aids in donor development through outreach efforts, networking, and implementing best practices to enhance donor engagement and support.

· Works alongside the administrative team to continuously assess the quality and effectiveness of outreach programs and recommends improvements as necessary.

· Responsible for grant-related activities, including writing, submission, and management of grants.

· Utilizes and maintains proficiency in Adult Day Service software and other web-based applications utilized by the organization.

· Stays informed about best practices and trends in adult day services, as well as emerging communication technologies that can enhance outreach efforts.

· Provides technology support as needed.

· Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· The ideal candidate should possess a strong desire to engage with the community, demonstrate adaptability, and excel in interpersonal communication, from individual conversations to public speaking.

· A related bachelor’s degree is preferred.

· Experience in fundraising or event coordination is beneficial.

· Proficiency in grant writing is required.

· Ability to work effectively as both a leader and collaborator within a team environment.

· Experience in outreach services and community relations is essential.

· Attention to detail is crucial.

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Strong collaboration skills with staff and volunteers.

· Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

· Competence in Microsoft Office and Google Suite is necessary.

· Familiarity with design software such as Canva is preferred.

· Strong understanding of social media and basic marketing platforms.

· Excellent organizational and critical thinking abilities.

· Commitment to the values and mission of Grace Center.

· Ability to interact effectively with elderly and disabled participants and their representatives.

· Physical ability to sit for extended periods, bend, and travel reasonable distances.

· Capacity to lift up to 20 pounds.

· Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

· A valid driver's license and proof of car insurance are required.
